That was my strategy a month ago. If you don't care much for progress then it is an option.
But if you start building lvl 25 mines, then you would start fleet saving 1m resources. Pray they won't pay attention to you. :D

I guess changing the bashing rule is not an option.

well defensive structure are cheaper then fleets... also if you stick to just buy cargo ships you can move resources 2 times a day an continue to build without having to wait for the money on a single planet. obviously it would be best to cluster the planets.

Precisly, people in this game are just starting to begin to learn that, it's easy to tell veterans from new guys simply by that. Back on topic I admit, 5 times a day in more than enough to cripple someone and prevent them from rebuild, I should know, I can keep and entire system of planet from build anything more than 50 laser or a dozen cruisers before sending in my fleet and systematically clearing them all out. so it really wouldn't be to bad to consider lowering it for the sake of other players.
Oppose me, you oppose death. Grim Reaper hasn't lost one yet.

I think most decent players are hard enough to catch. I don't think the Bashing rule needs to be changed or other means to save fleets needs to be added.

One thing I suggested in another thread was allowing players to micromanage the length of flights and/or Deuterium used in Flights/missions, so that you could enter 37 mins or 9 hrs, 22 mins, whatever the case may be. This would provide an easier way to manage your fleet without spending every waking moment thinking about when your fleet is going to land. It would still require knowing when you will be back, but I think it would be a benefit to most players. It also would not require a major rewrite.
