Probably Quitting Zorg

#1
Before this, my account was restarted for no reason and I was never told why and I lost a 9k and 8k sized moon. After that, that account was lost during a server maintenance and nothing was ever done about it,If you want to know the coordinates of these planet, PM me on the forums and I will tell you. After that, I restarted with a new account and continued to play since I enjoy Zorg a lot. I was fortunate to receive three very large and cold planets which I still use a lot now. I have also had four moons from moon shots that were too small for use of their purpose, so I abandoned them, and they became, what I call, "Ghost moons." Moons that, when abandoned, stay in the overview shown on the planet to which they belong and galaxy view, but are not in the drop down view, are immune to destruction missions, and can not be built on. One of them has been from a player's attack on me, and the other three have been from moon shots. The other three were deleted upon request, but not the most recent one. A player attacked my planet and gave it a moon, but, do to the ghost moon already around it, it was not deleted. I had already emailed the development team about this moon, but I later found out that they were on vacation for the weekend when I emailed them and my email was lost. I also found out that if a email isn't responded to after two days, it can be considered lost. I emailed them two more times, but these were also "lost." At this point, I think they are ignoring us and, from chat on the Zorg Empire Chat room, don't care about us at all anymore. For instance, the "Buy Zorg Rubies" sign is on the screen if you have under twenty rubies. Sometime next week, Curtis plans to try and crack my shell, and from this hit, I am confident that a moon will form from it, but this moon will be blocked as well if the ghost moon is still orbiting the planet. I have sent the fifth email to the development team and with the rush for the release of rapid fire and the battle simulator, it will also be forgotten and my growth will be stopped once again. If this happens, I will most likely quit having run out of patience for Zorg as they have run out of care for us. We are know longer players, but numbers. We are not notified of anything from them and our problems ignored. Everyone older seems to be feeling the same way, as well.

don't quit, just try and forget about problem with moon and admin not fixing for a while
they busy with rapid fire, battle sim and bugs and when they are introduced (which will be good for all players) they will have time to fix ghost moon for you
in meantime have fun playing, whether its mining, fleeting, raiding or posting in forum!

Battle sim and rapid fire were suppose to be added months ago, and my problems are continually ignored. The development team seems to care so much about us. Funny thing is that if SoC's account was messed up, they would fix him in a heart beat. Do you know why? Everyone knows Squirrel. The player base would drop like a rock, which it will if this game continues on as is. Money is all they care about, and one man's problems isn't worth the trouble.

as much as everyone would like to agree with that its just not the case..Malphage and others were takin care of @ 6 weeks ago when he was temporary erased and SoC hit his fleet...they not only returned it to Mal but waitted for him to be online before doing so..this was also due to the fact people had saved espi reports of his fleet..

Zorg does not keep track of ship or building content that we build..their server is not big enough to store all that information..even your everyday alliance chat and pms take up space on the servers..

it prolly would not be a bad idea that once a week that everyone in thier own alliances espi the others main fleet and opened a slot in the note section to store info..never know when you might be doing someone a favor...and 1 week production lost is better than months

Hang in thier man i feel ya..if there is 1 reply to this post from someone that understands and feels the pain..it's me!

We are trying our best in each case without making any exceptions. It is logical that there will be complaints to the administrator team as this is a multiplayer game where the admins have to take difficult decisions in order to maintain balance. This will result in some unhappy players.

This is one thing and it is acceptable.

On a personal note,

However your complaints are far from reasonable and plus, they are against the rules. I should delete your message, instead I will simply lock it. But before this, I will issue a reply for you especiallly but for the rest to know as well.

As for your problems that remain unsolved, I can see in the records that you have sent like 4 emails for a ghost moon.

I just wonder if you ever paid attention to the reasoning why your moon has not been removed completely yet. We removed the other three but not this one...

You have been told to be patient about this and wait as the development team is working on solving the issue. The game operator explained to you that it is easy to delete it now but you need to be patient as we need to fix the issue globally. You sent one more email today complaining that we still have not removed it, indirectly asking that we replace the ghost moon with a brand new one, just because a battle occured in your planet and you had "a lost chance". This last part sounds like you are asking for special treatment.

You complain that we solved other people's issues faster, just because "everyone knows SoC". This sounds like accusing us for favoritism.

Do not accuse us of favoritism and in the same time ask for special treatment. We are not into this sport and we strive to keep personal contact with the players to a minimum. Current forum moderators could be asked for this as even with them, we try to maintain an administrator to player relationship in which, for us, should be crystal clear that there will be no favors. We take all decisions with responsibility and always thinking all the players, not just one. Balance matters the most.

You abandoned a moon and you have a ghost moon. Are you aware how many ghost moons currently exist? Do you care if some people take advantage of these ghost moons ? Are you aware of the recently revealed recycler bug that CAN be abused ? Do you know how many enquiries we receive per day ? Are you aware how many of them are actually realistic and require an action ? Do you have any idea how many non-our-bussiness requests we receive per day ?

I can continue with many more questions. But the real question is that you sit there and complain about administrators, accusing us that we do not care about anything than money. However you should spend some time and come to our position as well.

Then think of your position as well. What have you done to favor the game to this day ? There are many ways to favor a game you like. The least you can do, is to be patient if you think that the people behind the game are total bastards. You fail to do even this little thing. Your motivation to post in this like is suspicious but I want to believe that it was only because you wanted a quick solution to your problem.

Even if you would bet otherwise, we have years of experience in managing communities. The community needs to always know the truth. What you currently present the community, is unspecific and it is innacurate. It is also against the rules. I wish and hope that the community will understand where truth stands.

I will also note, that an account restart, for which you also complain, is an automatic anti-cheat tool. We have improved this however and deletions are much more rare nowadays. Do not accuse us of something though that you could have evaded.

Finally, if a player like gumpy, whom I personally noted to have been major unfairly treated in his issue, has told you to take it easy, then I can even say that my reply was barely needed.

On a more general note,

We can accept any critic that it is based on SPECIFIC events. We actually want them in order to improve. Public rants on a general note "Pah, this zorg game is boring, I quit" or "This zorg guy in the forums is such a *******, him or me" etc do not fit in our forums and will be deleted without notice in the future.

I would also like to ease the community one more time that any delay in our proclaimed features, especially rapid fire, is justified due to some recently discovered issues. We work with priorities. There was indeed one week vacation of the staff but we are humans not machines and we are a small party and not a big company.

Any issue you may have, always use webmaster@zorgempire.net
We reply to every issue we can help and we fix everything we are supposed to fix. Do not expect any special favors or strategic help through this email. Replies rarely take more than 12hours. Save the weekends that there may be a bigger delay.
