I am new at this & hence the stupid questions:

1- in this forum, I can't change my name at the User Control Panel !

2- I am making a new alliance & I try to link to this picture as a logo, put it never displays, how come?

hmm the second is easy
try tiny pic and add [im g][/im g] thos with no spaces

1)Username changes in forums are not possible.

2)Use it like below in your alliance description to have the image appear:

Um Zorg, when did username changes in the forum become not possible?

As for the logo, go to Manage Alliance, then paste the URL into the box labeled Logo

only moderators can change Forum Usernames...and the only case in which we would do such is if you have a different In game name and need us to change your forum name to your current IGN

For adding the picture, I am still stuck after trying what you typed, I even reduced the size to 40K & it wont display, here is the latest image:

copy JUST the url, and put in the box marked Logo, then hit submit or whatever the button says

This is going to drive me crazy, I have tried every thing:
tried 3 hosts, changed the image (in case it might be jinxed), resized it a lot of times, changed the extension of the file to png instead of .jpg, tried it with [img] & without
nothing, it wont display.

You all have a marry Christmas, but when you come back please find me a solution, this is becoming embarrassing issue for me as a leader of this small team.


maybe I should divorce the wife, her nagging might be the cause of this

Thanks for the links, but I already have read a lot of these & nothing, I am beginning to suspect my browser, can you check the alliance page & see if the image is there?
