I was using firefox but then shortcuts like max buttons and all ships seem to have stopped working.

I switched to chrome but it feels weird. (I feel like I'm wearing someone else's clothes) XD. I sometimes get white screens between screen loads. It's annoying.

Is it just me?

What version of Firefox are you using. If you post your User Agent String, i can see if i can recreate the error.

I sometimes get a blank screen when using the simulator. but its not too annoying.

Make sure you're running a stable release of Firefox and keep your Java updated.

The white screens in chrome just before page load, is directly affected by your cpu load. If you always get them, try upgrading your pc or shutting off some programs (for windows, try msconfig at run). If you get them at some times, then it is the load at your pc at that time. Try closing programs or tabs. It is a very popular issue with much hate mail on google for this issue.

Regarding the simulator white screen I have got it in Firefox too (only in simulator) and I am uncertain what causes it.
