According to the in-game menu, the following equation is how you work out how much energy each Fusion Reactor will generate:

30 * [Level Fusion Plant] * (1,05 + [Level Energy Technology] * 0,01) ^ [Level Fusion Plant]

Okay so copy and paste that equation into notepad and save it to you desktop. Now right click the file you just saved and click delete. Empty your recycle bin just to be on the safe side. (Feel free to print it out first, then set fire to it - You should then urinate on the ashes just to be safe)

Now that you know what i think of the above gobbledy-gook, take a look at my equation below. It is about 99% accurate and will get you to +/- 1 of the actual answer.

Where a = Fusion Reactor Level
and b = Energy Tech Level

6 * 30 * a * (1.05 + b * 0.01) ^ a

Note:

* = Multiply
+ = Add
^ = To the power of (i.e 2 ^ 3 = 2 * 2 * 2 = 8)

Don't forget to equate the brackets before you proceed to a linear equation. For example lets say you want to work out the energy output of a level 10 Reactor with Energy Tech Level 8:

First replace the a's and b's so you have

6 * 30 * 10 * (1.05 + 8 * 0.01) ^ 10

Secondly equate the brackets

1.05 + 8 * 0.01 = 1.13

Now you have the following linear equation

6 * 30 * 10 * 1.13 ^ 10 = 6110.2

P.S I believe the reason i needed to multiply the formula by 6 is due to the game speed of the particular server you are in (i play in speed - which by my own calculations i assume is 6 x game speed, i'm unsure) so try adjusting the formula for your own universe/server. It would be appreciated if someone can confirm this for me.

Have you managed to test and confirm this? Also if anyone reading this is handy with a calculator i would appreciate your feedback, you can test it with your own tech and game speed.

There are a few other topics which try to solve this dilemma but just end up complicating it further, if others can confirm the accuracy of this one i can send it to the ZE Admin fairly confidently in the hopes they can update the in-game menu thus ending the confusion once and for all.

I have not had enough time to truly test the math. It would not be a very big diffrence I will try to test it out on speed with his math VS the output.
