Want to use Graviton tech but can't get the 300,000 energy needed!

Any one have any tips?

he is saying spam them, like build a lot of them quickly. first you want to build up your nanite's and robot factories so you can build them instantly.
here is a good tool to calculate how many you will need to reach your goal of 300.

if you want some newbie advice, focus on building up your mines and nanites and wait on the grav tech. if you want to fleet, unlock the battlecruiser and elite cargo. no better combo than that imo

The problem with the sat tool is it does not allow you to subtract the energy from your solar plants and fusion reactors before calculating the number of sats required. It is very simple to calculate it yourself.

1. Divide the energy output (from Resources) of your sats by your current number of sats to get the energy/sat number
2. Subtract the energy output of your solar plant and fusion reactor from 300 000
3. Divide the number from step 2 by the number from step 1 and you have the number of sats you need

A couple of other points:

a) Use your hottest planet - the hotter the planet the more energy/sat
b) Build up your nanite factory sufficiently so that you have instant sat build, which to the best of my recollection is level 4 in Xtreme and level 3 in Speed. Otherwise someone may crash your sats just to play spoiler.
