When attacking do you send your recyclers with the attacking fleet or send them after the attack. Thanks for your help

If you are going to be killing ships or possibly lose some of your own ships on defences, you would send your recyclers to the debris field before you attack as they are slower than your attacking fleet. You can send them after you send out the attack, but if there is anyone around the area, they will most likely pick up the debris field before you do. So seperate.
Edited to thank Karroth for helping the clarification.

In other words, send them as two separate missions.

what if your the one being attacked and you know your going to loose say i have 2k sats and they are sending 3 DS why cant i send my recyclers to show up 1 second after the attack. you can but only if you have a small DF why cant i do it with no DF?

recs can be send to a coordinate pointing to a df location regardless of df presence. that is even when u do not have any df there a rec mission can be launched. so if u are getting attacked u can actually get the df before the attacker scoops up the df. with the new split second mission control u might be able to do it with less than 1 sec time interval from the attack time.
df is independent resource. it has no owner regardless where it sits. even if it is nearing a player who is vacationing u can collect the df.

When you select the target, make sure you choose the DF instead of Planet or Moon
This will give you the Recycle option instead of Deploy.

^^ that would be how u set coordinates. a coordinate is 4 parts quadropple. [galaxy:system:orbit:planet/moon/df]
