Hi. How can I colonize another planet? I'am afraid that I will consume my allowable fields.

How To Colonize a Planet
That should cover everything you need to know. Aim for a planet of 250 or more fields in Xtreme, 200 in Standard, or 300 in speed.

You might also want to consider temperature. Lower numbered slots are usually warmer than higher numbered ones. Lower temp=more deut but less energy from solar sats, and vice versa for a higher temp.

Slot 14 and slots 4-9 are generally the largest.

If you do an expedition mission, you can discover planets that will give you a resource bonus. But, you can't colonize these. If you want to colonize a planet, just punch in the coordinates of an unoccupied planet. There is a planet in every planet slot in the galaxy menu, so a blank space is just an unoccupied planet.

Just wait for your resources to build up, come back to it tomorrow and you will definitely have enough.
