First timer here. And this is my First online strategy ever as well! im not a complete noob as iv played starcraft(the original loll) so i got some of the basics down i guess....not sure though.

but getting to my question.

In the resources page, when it shows you your current production rate and stuff im a little confused.

For example, My metal is at level 2, and it says 72, but under the energy theres a -25 and at the very bottom theres a total saying 92. now what do all these numbers mean? im guessing i get 72 metal every time i get a harvest(or whatever) so how long is each "harvest" time. and what does the -25 energy mean? again im guessing thats whats taken away from my total energy amount, which in this case with my level 3 solar plant is 79, but i still dont see what the -25 is. is it a percentage of the 72? oh wait, i think it might be lol i just calculated it and with my level 2 mine at 48, 25% of both added up end up being around 30(although here is is 29) but i guess any clarification would help as well as wtf is the 92 and how often are "harvests"

A - This is production per hour of the building shown in the left column. When you upgrade your mines, this number goes up. However, resources are updated every time you refresh the page.

B - This is the energy used by your mines in order to produce the number from A. As you upgrade your mines, this number goes farther into the negatives. Try and keep your total energy positive, otherwise it affects your production.

C - This is the percent of production you're currently running at. This is separate for each of your colonies and mines. Lowering the percentage reduces both hourly production (A) AND energy consumed (B). This can be useful if you're low on energy and need to specify which resource you want the most of. Otherwise, if energy is negative, it reduces all of your mines equally.

D - This is total production. It adds all the numbers in the respective column (excepting the "Storage Capacity" row which shows how much res you can hold before production stops). For example, my hourly metal income (D - 213.604) is my metal mine's production (A - 213.204) plus the basic income (400). The most important of these is the last row on the right, the energy. This should always be green (positive). As I said, negative energy reduces production.

Everything should be explained here. Also note that this was taken on Xtreme, so the "Basic Income" may be different. Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

also, does the amount of positive energy matter in terms of rate of production or quality of goods?(haha joking about the second one.)

for example, if make everything but my metal to 0(zero) production, and keep metal at 100% production, my positive energy become 30/79, is that more beneficial than say, having my crystal running at around 80% along with my metal at 100% and having a total positive energy of 3/79?

No difference at all. If your energy is positive, you get exactly what you see regarding the percentages. You could have 10k extra energy or 1 extra energy, you'll get the same production.

Production is still 100% if you've got 0 energy too

actually I have a question too...when you go into negative energy you occur no real negatives e.i.mines automaticly produce less to match less energy to use.so what even happens from negative energy.

Let's say you have -1/100 energy; your mines will produce at 99% efficiency. -50/100; 50% efficiency. So on and so forth.

if you go into negative your credit score drops and you get charges 15% more on the mortgage you took on your moon.

example: is -1/200 going to produce at 99% or 99.5%?
