well there is no section for general game discussion not confined to a server, so ill post it in help and hope Zorg actually looks in this section.

what i want to know is, is it legal to use a macro browser add-on to condense multiple page clicks into a single action?

for example, someone has your fleet on a 2 second gap phalanx hit, so you set up a macro in this add-on to automatically navigate through all the pages in a single action and let you dodge within 2 seconds when it would be impossible to do by hand

another example, you want to ninja someones attacking fleet by building light lasers, but you cant build enough in time so their safety probe doesnt see them but before it hits, so you set up a macro in this add-on to build 1.000 lasers but loop so you build 100.000 in a single action that would take a much longer time doing by hand

legal, or not?

well...why not put down 100.000 light lazers. but i do know what your talking about. i use more than one page on my account so i dont have to navigate as much which is legal so i think that thing you have should be legal 2.

Avoid macros and anything else not provided by the game navigation.

The general idea behind this is that while some macros could be helpful and not a cheat, they would still provide better navigation to the sort of people who are more proficient with programing. This creates an unfair (even slight advantage). More over, a macro is still an automation and automations are also disallowed.

Not to mention that macros are detectable by 2 different zorg scripts, including the anti bot one and can get you in trouble either by automatic ban script or by a moderator.

I'll see what can be done about the shipyard issue in the next hour so you will get an ease there.

wow taht 2 serc hit is almost impossible to miss, ididnt no they had macros for this game, shouldnt that be an auto ban?
