Zorg For Newbies

[Well i recently had a war with krieg....and i saw them tryign to fight backat me and it was sadly pathetic...they just crashing their fleets on my defences....so im gonna give a Low Down
Lets Start With Defences-
Defences have no Rapid Fire (RF) wih means that they can only fire 1 time unless like ships wich fire multiple times.
Defences worst enemy is the bomber, so if u see an attack coming yout way that has bombers, make sure u have some plasmas as wich they are the only defensive weapon wich cannot be hurt by any ship.
-Rocket Launchers- most basic and most vulnerable defensive weapons, but hurts if more than 100K in a shell
-Light Lasers(LL)- Most basic ans low cost defensive weapons, great for shells.
-Heavy Laser-Total waste of time and resources unless u a pro at shells and just wishes to make urself stronger.
-Ion Cannon-an advanced defensive weapon most useful against Cruisers, LF, HF, and others.
-Gauss- A very nice defensive weapon to have, not as much affordable, but cheaper and slightly cheaper version of ion cannon.
-Plasma Cannon- MOST Advanced and most deadly defensive weapon, helps to keep a couple in ur arsenal, makes atatckers rethink
-Anti-Balastic-Missles(ABM)- Good to keep IPM's Away wich are every turtles night mare, good number to have- 40
-Inter-planetary Missles(IPM) - Destroy defence weapons with distructive force.. Controlled by Weapons tech for destruction, and impulse controls how far...Impulse engine 1=3 systems of travel for IPM...atleast im pretty sure 3 systems...

Now For Buildings-
Building cannot be hurt in attacks and some require energy to run.
-Metal mine-produces metal, a very useful resource
-Crystal mine- Produces Crystal, a basic source, crystal mine produces lower in quantants than of metal mine
-Deuterium mine- Most Rare Resource, used for everything and produced the leeast by ur mines. USed especially for moving ur fleet and cruicial/ priority 1 for Fleeters
-Solar Plant- Build to atleast 15 before Sats. stops loss if u get raided..
-Fusion reactor- Useless(my view)
-Robot Factory- Level 10 best place to get it...it is used to lower cost of buildings...(hint-Build to 15 to make ur Nanites be built faster)
-Nanite Factory(Nano Factory)-speeds all times of everything except research by 2..Most useful building in zorg, and most expensive.
-Ship Yard-Self explanitory,used to unlock/make new ships and defences. Level 15 at most,if wanted
-Metal Storage,Crystal Storage, Deut Storage- Self Explanitory...
-Research Lab- Self explanitory,Used to cut researchtimes down,and unlcok new researches, max to 15 for low research times.
ACS Depo- Useful, level 3 at max, 1 will take uthrough zorg. Saves ur butt if ur abt to get raped by a fleet...other players can ACS defend u and ull be safe because their safe will help fight the attackers fleet.

When a mission is stated
U get 4 choices when u choose ur ships and coords for a mission-
Attack the player-Self Explanitory
ACS-Help save them from an atatck - some people use as Fleet save- i say dont FS this way
Transport- To transport resources to another player/yourself, Cargos are best for this type of mission
Deploy-Transfer ur ship- Only works from ur planet to ur planet.

Turtling Tips
Given to me by an old old old friend
Being a turtle you need to have strong income from mines, so it is best to cluster your planets all close together and build some high level mines on them.
Choose one of your planet to build a good shell on. I would say a good shell composotion is:
10k Light Lasers to every 500 Ion Cannons.
500 Ion Cannons to every 50 Gauss Cannons.
50 Gauss Cannons to every 25 Plasma Cannons.
So a set up would look like these:
10000 LL
500 IC
50 GC
25 PC
Or
25000 LL
1250 IC
125 GC
62 PC
Some people also go for a heavier Plasma Cannon build where you forget about the Gauss Cannons and Triple/Quadruple the Plasma Cannon coeffiecient.

Fleeting
My ocupation
Fleeting is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things done....
I am a fleeter...meaning im mostly Fleet...i have a 12k Fleet already and im 6k points on score board,and that brings me to Fleet Saving,meaning u send ur ships on a mission , i say send them on transport at 10% for 11 hrs because time multiplies....so it wouod be like 22-23 HRS so it good, i do 24 hrs exactly ...so first gather all ur fleet>Select All Ships> then put speed at 10 %> then find the system where it takes ur fleet to reach the point at 11 hrs(perferably 11 hrs 30mins>then X out and make a colony over there> and u have a FS point.
Fleeting really has no guidelines except build all ships u can and FS them so they dont become lunch/Breakfast/ or Dinner for someone....

MINER
Mining-
The most safest people in zorg..they have good mines and their only fleets are usually Cargos and Sats, so they not much profit...but attack them with cargos and u have resources....but a miner has a lot of mines , meaning nice nanite factory levels,so when u attacking them they can usually build like 90 PC in an instant or something.....be careful with them...dangerous...and a good occupation none the less.

Ships
Small Cargo-Used for resource raids (SC)
Large Cargo- Used for transport mostly,more capacity than small cargo (LC)
Light Fighter- a fighter for noobs but get like 3000 in a fleet and u have a dangerous swarm(LF)
Heavy Flghter- A better version of Light Fighter(HF)
Cruiser- My 2nd favorite ship- (CRS, Cruiser) - A better version of HF, and faster Then BS, but half the power, Low Deut costs.
Battle Ship- (BS)- Made with only metal and cruiser so if destroyed u may recycle and recover so less loss, lots of fire power , but not so fast none the less.
Ultra Cargo/Super Cargo/Whatever- Unreleased- This is the ultimate cargo...not much info available yet, but all i no is that i want 21 of them...
Colony Ship- Selflessly Obivious help u colonize more planets
Recycler- Used to Recycle Debris (DF)
ESP Ship- Used to get info on enemies
Destroyer- A very advanced ship, only 1 capable of really destroying a Death star with the least damage done to it..(DDS)
Death Star- Zorgs Pride ship, best ship possible tobuild, low on deut, and killer power, but slow, i suggest using for over night raids,(DS)
Bomber- Used to destroy defences , only ship capable of copletely destroying defences.
Solar Satelites- Used to provide energy for ur Mines.
