Hi! I joined this game a few days ago, and hooked! First of all, I want to thank Istalris, Witchywoman, Slash, and any others I've forgotten, for helping me get started. I have two questions: First, is there some kind of data sheet that explains what research/technology I need for different ships and defenses? Secondly, how do I get an avatar up here? I downloaded one, but I don't think I entered the format right in the options. Thanks!

Hey thanks xar, I appreciate the help. BTW I sent 4 small cargos and 2 fighters 2 galaxys away to raid, and lost everything. Guess I'm getting too greedy...lol

Dear lord. I hope you meant two systems away and not two galaxies.

Research Espionage Technology and buy some probes. ALWAYS probe before you raid, or you don't know what you're flying at. Try and stick to your local area too, a hundred systems either way of your planet is good. Cross galaxy raiding is quite a big no-no.

Ok, in response to Slash, yes, it was 2 whole galaxies away. I was actually curious how long it would take. Next time (after I get my resources back up and build more SC's) I'll stick to my own galaxy...lol
In response to Istalris, I have 2 probes, and sent one out. it came back with resources only, no fleet data. And I'm on lvl 4 espionage, and I've read about the misleading reports, and I only sent 1 probe out, so next time I'll send 2 or 3. Thanks for the input!

Oh by the way, I just got the fusion reactor technology, but I've heard nothing good about it so far. Should I just ignore it for now and stick to solar? And is the problem going to be fixed in the future?
