i sent all my fleet overnight on an espionage flight to an inactive planet. i logged in this morning and my fleet is gone. i got a spy report but nothing telling me what happened to my fleet. it just vanished into thin air. this is the second fleet i have lost with no explanation for what happened to it. my cords are ×:×××:××. im ready to quit playing this game and return to DELETED

Make sure that at the end of the report it doesnt say "fleet destroyed". I believe if you send your whole fleet on and esp. mission, if it says fleet destroyed then its gone.

Do not fleet save by esp flight. This is the most common way of losing your fleet. The entire fleet you send as an esp flight are combined together and are considered by the system as nothing more than a probe. If there was anything that may kill a probe on that planet/moon... it will kill the entire fleet along with it as all of the fleet is considered a probe in this type of save. I would say that it got destroyed, so you really didn't save anything.
