Ok, so I recently spent res on Hyperspace Engine tech, but shortly after that I went into V-Mode (I had forgotten it was researching). I went in V-mode no problem, but I just got to thinking...What happens to my research? It was going to take about 44 hours to finish, and I went into V-Mode about 2 hours in. I checked my planet and I wasn't given the res back, but I don't know if it is still researching or not.

So, basically, what happens to my research when I go into V-Mode? Will it continue as normal or did I just lose 36 mil in res?

I would think it would continue on with researching, or put it on pause. But then on this game the worst usually happens, so you might have lost the res.

From what i have heard it just takes longer for your research to finish. For example if your research took two days it might take four.

I think the same goes for defense, fleet, and buildings.

You cant build while in v mode. Before you can enter it, the system makes you stop whatever you're building, or it makes you wait until you finish building.
