Expeditions

I keep leveling up my Expedition Tech., thinking that something will change, but nothing happens. I don't know how nor when to do Expiditions. Care to enlighten me?

Leveling it up seems to improve your chances of getting something nice

i thought levelling up was just similar to computer tech and increases number of expeditions possible

Send an expedition to slot 16 via fleet menu.

Or you could click the button that says "Outer Space" in the galaxy view
