Where do the fleet Returns if Planet or Moon Destroyed

That's a question which puzzles me since I started playing , does anybody knows the answer.
I noticed that some players when under Phalanxed attack destroy their planets, what happen to the returning fleet, vanish in a black hole or what ?
I recalled my attack did I made the right decision ?

If you mean that you recalled your attack because the attacked player destroyed his planet or moon, then I 'm sorry but you made the wrong decision. The fleet still continues its course and would be there (on the destroyed planet) when your attack was supposed to land. In fact, any defenses on the destroyed planet would no longer exist, making your attack more profitable.

Oh dear a lot deut spent for nothing, and by the way was my best timming 1sec after fleet returns, well I will know the next time if I missed his fleet what would happen after landing

Why didn't you throw a question to anyone from your alliance or V or RAWK before deciding?
If they happen to be online, many players even from "rival" alliances will provide answers regarding the game

If I'm not mistaken, the fleet will still be on that destroyed planet for 48 hours until it disappears, so you can still go crash it right?

Correct, however I don't know how much control of the fleet the defender has.
I mean, IF the defender can control his fleet from the destroyed planet (which I can't think of any possible way, the planet will not be present for him anymore) then he's surely online (as he destroyed the planet) and you 'll probably miss him.
This is something I cannot presently answer for sure.
What I do know, is that you can probe the destroyed planet.
Maybe pkromm should try now and tell us what happened.

somone told me the destroyed planet can still be in the drop down menu for 24 hours or they might have said the moon idk

Sorry OWA, I followed Ista advise and already I am using the resources, they I mean the ships were there waiting for me, no defenses only ships, was nice very but very nice.
