I have been building my empire for the last two months without any significant errors or problems until last night.

I was attacked by lord of war and I defended myself as best I could, I lost all of my fleet, I most of my defenses and the only bright side I saw to the whole thing was there was according to the report 7,000,000 floating debris around my planet, but when I checked there was nothing there. secondly all of the defenses I built yesterday are gone as though I never built them and I still have no defenses on my main planet. I can be understanding just like the next guy but even the top players wouldn't be able to move a moon's worth of debris in under an hour.

actually, he probably picked up the debris within seconds after the hit..timing is everything, and if you dont get the DF the hit is not profitable.

As for the missing defenses, check your reports for IPM (missile) attacks that are used specifically for taking out and completely destroying defenses that do not rebuild themselves like they do in a general fleet attack.

Yep, that 7 million debris field would have easily been picked up by him in seconds, most of the top players are able to collect about 150-200 million debris immediatley after the attack has taken place.
