Solar sats

#1
Is there a specific formula to use to figure out how much energy a solar sat will give like 1 x random number in temp ranger x .01 or something?
If I had to choose who I would die fighting against, I would choose corrupt government.

You can get a pretty accurate approximation of what your solars sats will put out in energy (per solar sat) by doing the following:

Minimum planet temp times .166 plus 20

So for example you have a planet that has temp of 32 - 72 C

32 x .166 + 20 = 25.312

You may want to round that down to just 25 if you are looking to build for your graviton, being over on the sats on building the sats is better than being under and having someone crash them while you are running out to get the last bit of resources you need to build them

As I said in the equation it gives you an approximate amount of energy you can get. Because the equation is based on the minimum temperature it gives you the least amount of energy you should be getting. Your planet temperatures flutuate from the low temp to the high, basically even though you have a planet that says temp is 36 to 64, your planet may not be actually 36, the temperature can be any where in between those given numbers. As there is no way to make an equation that will give you a completely accurate energy solar sat output due to this variation of temperatures, I gave an equation that would allow you to figure out what the least amount of energy would be.
