Question about missiles

I was thinking about the interplanetary missiles and anti-ballistic missiles, and I was wondering if attacking fleets were able to destroy either type of missiles, and if interplanetary missiles could destroy enemy fleets/other missiles when shot at someone. Would appreciate answers soon.
Thanks!

No, antis just destroy incoming missile attacks. Inters just smash defense of planets you throw them at. Attacking fleets can't touch or be touched by either types of missile.
Hope i helped

Do you mean that the fleet stationed at a planet can not be touched if you launch an interplanetary missile at them?

ipm's only target defenses.
abm's only block ipm's.
fleet doesn't come into the equation at all sadly.

athight is correct, IPM's only target planetary defenses like Light Lasers and Rocket Launchers, They do not target any type of fleet.
ABM's are only used to counter an IPM
