What is the best way of destroying planetary shields without using missile's

Nothing seems to damage shields not even bombers which are made for destroying defense's xD lol

there isn't any other way than using missiles

You dont need to destroy them, they rebuild but your ships still killed them in the battle and therefore you still may get through and take the resources
