Ok i have a question if i wanted to give an account away on a server that i do not play and i am not getting an account in return and the person i give it to a) has no account on mass or b) let their accoount go inactive is this against the rules since there is not a trade of accounts taking place

I don't think so, if i remember correctly you need to email administration to notify them of the change in ownership, and keep any further discussion private.

Contact administration at all cases to avoid trouble later.
They will tell you what to do.

Also, when you want to switch an account, make sure you follow the rule exactly as it has been posted.
