Well i'v checked a few of moon topics in forum, but i couldnt find this one:

in MD missions, when it says 99 percent, is it really 99 percent? I mean is there a 1 percent chance that RIPs fleet get destroyed?

Yes.

Although it should say this in destruction.

There are 2 rolls. One if Moon is destroyed and 1 if RIPS are destroyed.

So:

99%: 16 Death stars needed.
98%: 16 Death stars needed.
97%: 15 Death stars needed.
96%: 15 Death stars needed.
95%: 15 Death stars needed.
90%: 13 Death stars needed.
85%: 12 Death stars needed.
80%: 11 Death stars needed.
75%: 9 Death stars needed.
50%: 4 Death stars needed.
25%: 1 Death stars needed.

The probability of the destruction of the deathstar fleet is 38 %

If you send in 16 RIPS, there is 1% chance that they will not destroy the moon. If this happens, then there is a 38% chance that the fleet you sent will be completely destroyed.
