Energy from fusion reactor

30 * [Level Fusion Plant] * (1,05 + [Level Energy Technology] * 0,01) ^ [Level Fusion Plant]
Can anyone explain this formula? I tried several things and I still can't find out how the energy is being computed.

yeah u get the nergy by muiliplying the lvl of ur fusion plant by a number (which i think is a hundred and five) then you multiply the awnser of that by the lvl of ur energy tech...

The commas are periods and periods are commas, just like when looking at armor/shield/weapon points on the ships.
Thats how I did it and it worked.
If you had Energy level 10 with Level 5 Fusion Reactor it would be calculated as:
30*5*(1.05+10*0.01)^5
30*5*(1.15)^5
30*10(Rounded)=300 (Give or take a few, depending on how and when they round)
Just follow the order of operations and it'll work. I tried on mine and its close, but off by about 10 or so.
And for anyone that hasn't done math in a while the order of operations are:
Parentheses
Exponents
Multiplication/Division (From Left to Right)
Addition/Subtraction (From Left to Right)
You may have been going out of order from that, I'm not really sure. I don't think the formula there and the one that shows on the resource page is the same, mines off by 17.

I also tried that.
It was only 50% of the fusion reactor's energy output.

May I ask what your Level is as well as your output on the planet?
I can't remember if that is a violation of forum rules or not, so if you want to send them, I'd do it over a PM.
You've got me curious, now.

It seems the numbers listed in the Fusion Reactor Sub-menu are not correct. At all, actually. It off by over half. The number listed in the resource page is correct (Almost) its the Fusion Reactor page thats messed up.
Also, you probably already know this, but the "Difference" part of the Fusion Reactor page is written as the difference from Level X and the lowest level listed. Might want to rewrite that to show difference between your Level X and your CURRENT level, like that of the Solar Plant page.

The equation has been quoted wrong. I'm guess that is because it was changed at some point and not updated in the description.
The correct equation is:
Energy = 100 * {Reactor level} * (1 + {Energy Tech Level} * 0.01) ^ {Reactor level}
I'm just a genius with too much time and not enough Uranium...

I still don't get it. Here is my reactor data:
Lvl 11 energy tech
reactor lvl - energy output
8 - 1.714
9 - 2.122
10 - 2.593
11 - 3.138
12 - 3.766
13 - 4.487
14 - 5.316
15 - 6.265
16 - 7.351
17 - 8.592

Are you sure your energy tech level is 11? Because those numbers perfectly match what my formula gives for level 10 energy.

Energy tech level above 10 appears to do nothing that I can tell
