Reading the information on IPMs they state that they are offensive, intended to destroy defense. I don't understand why they are listed in Technologies under Defense. Do they have Defensive value.
Also, they mention that APMs are the only defense against IPMs. I assume that is a typo...they mean ABMs? Or is there such a thing as an APM?

#2IPMs do not have defensive value, but they are closer to defense than ships are. It just makes it easier to manage your missiles if they're all on the defense page.
