I recently had my first battle, but the battle report makes no sense! throughout the report i see tables with the number of fighters i have (2 light fighters) and the amount of stuff the defender has (1 cargo 1 probe and 16 solarsatellites). In between the tables i see battle narrations, like the number of damage point i give and the amount his shields absorbs and vice versa then another table and so forth. But what confuses me is, i am giving him damage and his shields are only absorbing about half of the damage, but after every attack, the table is showing no differences. he still has the same number of cargo, probe and solar satellites, and all the values are the same, nothings changes. and after the battle, when i sent a spy drone to check out his planet, everything was exactly the same as it was before the battle, with the only difference being he now has more laser turrets (lol). but WTH, i thought i would take out his solar satellites or take out something but nothing happened. can someone explain this too me?

Basically, the the damage from your Light Fighters that managed to penetrate the shielding of the defender, was not enough to break through the armour of the defenders units and therefore destroy them. Just send more firepower.
