i dont get this. a player goes vmode, 36 hrs later hes still in vmode but with (40mins) next to his planet name. 12 hrs later i see (17mins) next to same planet name and hes still in vmode

i dont get it, could someone explain how the timer appeared

You can log into your account when you're in v-mode; you just can't do much besides check your messages. Oh and Moved.

you can change the name of your planet to look like there has been activity on your planet for instance say the planet was called Pandora .. He May Have Called it Pandora (40min ) (17min ) etc..

he had a (v) so it wasnt a planet name. i didnt know that logging in to check msgs showed up the timer, ive just seen another vmode player with a timer. oddly the player in question had a cluster of planets in one system and they all showed identical times with the timer, is there a point to that?

Being on the overveiw counts as activity on a planet. Perhaps he wanted to see how much res he had on each?
