#1What happens if you abandon a planet with research made on it? Do you lose the research?

#2No, research is linked to your account, not planet. If you have it on 1 planet, you have it on all, current and future.

#3ya , but remember, ur buildings, ships, and defences will be taken away, meaning u lose points too

#4Abuse possible on this? Research does take a slot on the planet, correct? Could research a bunch, then sack a planet.

#5Research on one planet will make research on all other planets impossible. You can also research at the same time as you are building fleet, defenses (but fleet and defenses take the same slot), and buildings, so it would be a waste to build a planet purely for research, unless it's for Graviton tech.
