Let me address the scenarios.
First, particular fleet will cost an amount of deut to move around. In the fleet menu it provides a cargo cap for fleet. If the required deut exceeds the cargo cap the mission will not be approved. But for the range calculation it shows only the max. distance that can be covered with the available deuts. As we select this before the mission type (Attack, ACS defend, deploy or transfer) the calculation is done regardless of the mission nature. Only when you submit it shows whether your fleet is capable of the mission.
Second, the recall option. If you approve a fleet the deut will be cut of at the beginning, so afterwards if you recall the mission even if you are supposed to get a certain amount of deuts back, you are not given a thing in return. All burned out at fleet launch.
I was wondering if the problems have been fixed or not? I tried to look it up in the forum but most of the hits were few months old and did not had happy ending (no results given).
Re: Fleet Deut. Consumption Round Trip vs One way
#2Unfortunately, as in many games of this type, deut consumption is fixed. Ranges of 170 systems or greater are virtually the same consumption depending on the target selected. I doubt this can be corrected without a major overhaul of the game engine. It would be great to have reduced consumption, but I doubt it will happen in our lifetime.

#3Thanks Slash. Sorry for the delayed reply. It went down on the msg list
Anyways, I think what you have said is final. You may close the topic.
