Sure thing!
*Tae-Kwon-Do*
AKA Korean Kickboxing, it's an art in which the defender interperates the next move of the attacker by actions such as looking down or holding their breath.
*MMA*
AKA Mixed Martial Arts is a style that is commonly taught in Western Europe. The defender uses all means to ensure that the limbs of his attacker are considered to no longer be a threat (breaking, crushing, or pinning, YIKES).
*Sport Karate*
A style born from the original Karate and sister to "Olympic Style Karate", Sport style is used to expand the knowledge of how to use your limbs. Punching is not the only thing you can do with your arm. Try swinging it like a club in the air to rotate your body after a jump and landing a nice kick in their face ^^.
*Judo*
This style is very basic- but one of the most difficult to master. Your weapon is not your mind, your body, or your spirit- but your opponet. You use their weight and movements to your advantage.
*Jujitsu*
One of the most ancient styles ever known to man, Jujitsu is a form of "Ninjitsu" that derived from the East. When you master this style, you are able to master a technique called "Chi". Chi (although most people think it's some sort of spiritual action) is actually very scientific and hard to grasp when your practicing it. The flow of your blood affects how your muscles work. When the blood flows faster, your reflexes are faster. In order to make your blood flow change, you must change the energy (negative or positive) from one limb, to the one you wish to enhance. Example: I have to slow down the blood flow in my left leg in order to give enough energy into my right arm for the blood flow to increase immensely. It's really quite something and comes in handy! It's like a controlled "adrenaline rush".
*Tae-Kwon-Do (Weapons)*
This is the basic use of many weapons put together with the strategies of your mind in being able to know what's coming next. We use weapons such as bo's (staffs), war spears, katanas, kamas, 3-link staffs, nunchakas, shurikins (or shurikans, depending on dojos that you go to), bushido blades (up to 7 feet long!), and sai's. The one's I've practiced with are bo's, katanas, nunchakas, shurikinds, and war spears.
