No... In fact, I've dropped my phone a thousand times, let it get buried once, and have let it get washed and dried in my washer and dryer once... The darn thing won't die!

On a side note: it's batteries only have to be charged every three days, and the only thing messed up about it is that I must use a headset, otherwise the people on the other end can't hear me. Guess I have done some damage. And don't even asked how it got buried...
