Allow me to put your minds at rest, i solved this one when i saw it about a year ago. You have to stop thinking about complicated situations and keep it simple. There are two very obvious solutions to the riddle if you just keep your mind out of the more weird areas that would prevent people getting wet in water.

The first solution is that not a single man got wet because none of them were single, they were all married.

The second solution is the obscure one, the riddle could be indicating that not a single man got wet (referring to 1 man) but all of them did (referring to all 4 men).

Personally, i prefer the first solution.

I am going to post the next riddles... ok?

1. In marble walls white as milk,
Lined with skin soft as silk
Within a fountain crystal clear,
a golden apple does appear.
No doors are there to this stronghold --
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.
What am I?

2. Only one colour but not one size,
Stuck at the bottom yet easily flies,
present in sun but not in rain,
doing no harm, and feeling no pain.
What am I?

3. What appears once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?

... number 3 is easy if you already know it, please do not ruin the fun if u do know it, leave it for someone to try and figure out...

I am not 100% certain, but this bears a resemblance to a few other riddles with the same answer, and i can't think of anything else it applies to. If you guys want to know, the trick to figuring out a riddle is doing it a line at a time, and thinking simple. After suiting an answer to a line, check it against the rest. Sometimes a riddle can be figured out in the first line without confusing yourself with the rest. This riddle for example, could be figured out even if i could only read the third line and non of the rest.

The answer is; a shadow.
