I meant older systems, as in Snes and Genisis.I find older game's have more playback value compared to a lot of newer games.

I prefer the PS3 over the 360. The PS3 is more of a multi media device where as the 360 is just for games. I have a gaming PC, so two gaming devices would be a waste...also, I was able to get rid of my DVD player since the PS3 plays DVDs. Sony also has Metal Gear Solid which, I think, is better than Halo. It may be more expensive, but it does more than just gaming and doesn't cost you monthly like 360 does. If you are going to have the PS3 for more than 2-3 years, then the PS3 is cheaper since you don't have to pay monthly for live. PS3>360.

I'd say 360. Personally I like the games better and although you do have to pay for online, 360 has a better online system then PS3.
