Err.. can't let this one slide.. Within Temptation is from the Netherlands.. not Germany :S

Anyways..

My recommendations:

Wolfmother
Alter Bridge
Probot ( metal all the way, project from Dave Grohl, features a bucketload of singers of known metal bands )
Cavalera Conspiracy ( more metal )

these all are the bands I know the name off.. worked in a rock bar for years, heard millions of different songs but never could remember band names :S

Have you listened to a band called Nightwish? I recommend the songs Sahara or The Escapist.

YES! Nightwish is a great band! What songs of Flyleaf and Skillet do you like?

PS- It's SO hard to find Within Temptation CD's in the states...
Thought you might, the genre you're into gives it away. ;)

From Skillet i think Looking for Angels, The Last Night and Whispers in the Dark are great. Whispers in the Dark being my favorite. :)

I love All around me by Flyleaf, i haven't seen a lot of their songs but what i have i am liking.

On another note, you listen to German industrial too, heard of Rammstein? :D

Oops! Sorry I ment to put (Germany/Netherlands) because isn't their bassist from Germany? And yes, I LOVE industrial. Rammstein is just okay. I mean...don't get me wrong, their music, rythm, and originality is AWESOME! But, it's the lyrics that throw me off. I'm not really a "dark" person, I'm pretty innocent, so I try to keep it that way ^^.

Hey everyone, my band and I are making our FIRST SINGLE next year, probably. You should all buy a copy and be like, "Oh yeah! That chick plays ZEmpire with me!" Lol.
