There are the OFFICIAL RELEASE NOTES for Generals tournament universe. Read here to get all the details you need for the new universe.

-Storages: Same as SPEED and MASSACRE ( http://www.zorgtools.com/index.php?tool=storage )
-The DF and resources in various stats are being calculated in metal value at a trade ratio 3:2:1
-Battle Engine: Massacre

Ship changes:
Destroyer RF against LG raised at 6
Destroyer RF against BC raised at 6
Colony ships have different tech requirements (Lvl 3 shipyard, Lvl 1 Impulse Engine, Lvl 1 Colonization Tech)

CHOICE OF GENERAL AT THE BEGINNING
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=--=-
-Each player gets to choose a General at the start of the game. There will be 4 generals to choose from and you will not be able to change them later. Each general brings special traits available only to the players who chose him.

Tactic 1)
Title: Mine General
Bonuses: +10% production for metal, crystal and deuterium.
Special Buildings: Storage Den (Building to hide resources from raiding - Check below for details)


Tactic 2)
Title: Defense General
Bonuses: Up to 90% defence regeneration (instead of the universal 60-70% it will get 80-90% regeneration chance).
Special Unit: Voyager (Expedition Ship which will perform better in expedition journeys - check below for details)

Tactic 3)
Title: Raid General
Bonuses: 10% cheaper deuterium consumption, +2 fleet slots
Special Unit: Star Raider (Raiding ship - Check below for details)

Tactic 4)
Title: Fleet General
Bonuses: +15% armor/+15% shields/+15% Weapons, 10% cheaper deuterium consumption
Special Unit: Predator (All arounder ship - check below for details)


Plus Options:

You will start with 10 zorg rubies (free).
There will be 10 available options for a total price of 240 rubies. Best price is 250 rubies for $9.99.
This means that for $9.99 one player will be able to get FULL bonuses till the round end and still have 20 rubies to use on merchant.
The only reason for a player to buy more rubies, would be to send to another player or to use on the merchant.
Remaining rubies (more than 10) will be carried over to next tournament.

Here if the full list. Every option can be activated once and lasts till the tournament end.
25% Metal Production for 30 Rubies
25% Crystal Production for 30 Rubies
25% Deuterium Production for 30 Rubies
25% Energy Production for 30 rubies

Shipyard (Both Defenses and Ships) production time 25% faster for 30 rubies
Buildings production time 25% faster for 25 rubies
Research Speed 25% faster for 25 rubies

Building Queue (+3) for 10 Rubies
Increased Storages size by 25% for 10 Rubies
+50 fields on any newfound planet for 10 Rubies
+1 fleet slot for 10 Rubies

-No referral system will be used for this universe.


Points Ranking
Winner will be decided by total points.

Top 10 Winners will enter the Tournament Round Winners where each round will be saved separately and forever.

All tournament participants will enter the Tournament Hall of Fame which will work as following:
-Building points + 2*Defense Points + 3*Fleet points + 4*Research Points / 1 000 000 will be the added points per tournament.
-This ranking will not be reset and all future tournament points will be recorded here for overall performance in the tournament server.
-Standard 1 point per 5000 resources will be used.

(You need to research lvl 1 to colonize your first planet. Then you need 1 new level for each new planet).


D)Other new concepts

1.Damage from regenerated defence does not count in stats and is not reflected in the combat report. For example, if you destroy 100 Rocket Launchers but 80 of them regenerate, then the damage dealt is 20 * 2500 = 30000 instead of 100 * 2500 = 250000 damage. Do note that the later is used in regular universes but is under revision to change.

2.Probably fixed the +-1 typo issue in graphical battles for the value of destroyed defence.

3.Added an extra option to Fleet speed: 1%. So the available list will now be: 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, 1%.

This was our choice in order to give a chance for logical fleet saves (1% speed equals about 10% in Massacre to get an idea).

4.Vmode will last 2 days (48 hours) instead of 3 days. The 48hours gap in between vmodes is maintained.
5.Deletion of accounts will take place once round ends.
6.SPECIAL MILKING RULE: FLEET CRASHING "ON RETIREMENT" IS NOT ALLOWED in this universe. All rule violations in Tournament universe may bring penalties to accounts of player in regular universes.

You will get to pick a new General. The choice is valid only for 1 tournament.

Once tournament ends, everything will be deleted and any forthcoming tournaments will start from scratch, including the General option.

yeah this will be superb :P...and i didn't expected to do this but FarmerJoe is right and i like his idea in this way it will be more competitive anyway it is nothing like prizes compared to the buyers of the rubies when the tournament start lol :))))....so if 3 players buys 250 rubies :))) you can afford to make prizes with that numbers that FarmerJoe said is just an idea :P...
