I know that this thread was originally created for games of 2012, but I'm gonna completely break the rules and go on a rant.
Anyone heard of the game The Last of Us? Yeah, I know it's for PS3, and I'm not starting a console war; I like 360 and PS3, and own both. Anyway, I bought this game because everyone I know says it's great, started it up, and began to play. So, I walk through this beginning part, where you play as the world's greatest daughter, and boy was it a beautiful start. The graphics are pretty top notch, some of the best voice acting I've ever seen.
Major Spoilers In Box Below
Anyway, I get past the little introductory point, to when you first see this chick named Tess, when my phone rings and scares the hell out of me, because of how mesmerized I was by this game. My sister was outside with my niece, just to visit, and she was calling to tell me that my doorbell was apparently broken, so I paused and got up to open go open the door. I made the ultimate mistake: I didn't close my room bedroom door while I had guests. My niece, at some point during their visit, went in and pulled the console off of the shelf by the power cord, and broke it. Now I am unable to continue this game, and I'm frustrated.
